When I was young, my mother kept a small wooden box for 3x5 index cards. These cards had all of the things she might need, such as contact information for people, recipes, and just stuff to manage life. Since the 1980s, there have been hundreds of books, tools, and toys to improve personal productivity. This is meant to be a simple one and I call it Cardfile.

Cardfile gives you a collection of virtual index cards organized into files. The cards contain text and can include Markdown formatting. That’s it. We are looking at adding more features in the coming months, but we want to get this into the hands of users now for an open beta. Check it out, it’s free.
